        The aim of this tender is to identify an organisation or a consortium of organisations, which will be mandated for the elaboration of the project document and detailed project design during the Inception Phase of the Potable Water Management Programme in Upper Egypt over the period 1.11.2017 to 31.3.2018 as well as for the implementation and coordination of the project in Aswan during Phase 1 over the period 1.6.2018 to 31.12.2021 subject to the relevant credit proposal being approved by SDC as well as the project agreement being signed by the Egyptian authority.

        Key responsibilities:

        — Elaboration of the Project Document including logframe and baseline study for indicators for Phase 1;

        — Carrying out detailed risk assessment, gender analysis and institutional assessment of the Aswan Water and Sanitation Company;

        — Overall implementation, management, organization and coordination of the project activities;

        — Elaboration of annual action plans and regular reporting on the operational results.
